Technical characteristics

The function of the accelerator pedal is to give a direct driving sensation coupling the accelerator pedal propulsion with the car’s acceleration. The accelerator pedal uses a contactless movement sensor that can provide a voltage linear signal in the range 0-5 V.

Application

Vehicles using “drive by wire” systems (the pedal does not directly control the throttle but informs the injection control unit about the driver's requirements by a voltage signal).
